A ride-hailing Driver is hijacked by a Criminal on the run from his crime boss setting in motion a series of events, placing both their lives in peril.

Our film was shot entirely in downtown LA with no permits, in cars, with prop-guns, we had a few altercations with over-zealous security guards, as well as ketamine induced people surrounding our leads on the street of (nighttime) DTLA. The locations were often found on the day, and the picture car (a rental) was brought up by the director from Austin (fully loaded with prop weapons, wardrobe and gear)...upon return to Austin we were subject a biblical attack of locust in the Texas desert.

All this for a film shot in 10 days with recognizable "name" actors and we loved ever second of it! Cheers!!!

Director Statement

We made CLUTCH in DTLA with no permits and shot it guerrilla for the sake of making a film. NO A.I. all blood, guts, and fist-fights over locations shot in 10 nights. Clutch is avant-garde street theater shot with the spirit of the French new wave and John Cassavetes guiding us.
