Ariane's grandmother often visits her in her dreams. Together, they wander through unknown nocturnal landscapes. In this dreamlike short film, where the border between memories and imagination is blurry, Ariane raises the possibility that the seal between life and death is more porous than we think.

Director Biography

Ariane made her directorial debut with her short film WILD SKIN (2016), followed by LITTLES WAVES (2018), THE DEPTHS (2019) and SHOOTING STAR (2020). All of her short films have premiered at the TIFF festival before gaining international recognition and winning numerous awards and nominations. SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS, a film tribute to her grandmother, is her first animated short film which she created as part of the FNC’s carte blanche. Ariane is now dedicated to filming her first feature film, which will debut production in the fall of 2022.
