You Are Here is an experimental animation that plays on the idea of an instructional video. Through a series of montages, the film breaks down ideas around role and identity within Eastern and Western perspectives.

Xinjiang is off-limits to Western journalists and directors. This may be the first time you've seen Xinjiang. This is a dual-screen experimental short film. It records that during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the director and team drove more than 3,000 kilometers and trekked through different landforms such as deserts, canyons, grasslands, and Gobi. They came to Xinjiang, China, and had dinner with the Uyghur people in the desert gorge. The director has been paying attention to the living conditions of the minority people in the border areas of China since 2006. In such a harsh period of time, the artist reached out through concrete actions, hoping to fill some gaps and show some hope. Through the special design of this film, every detail is composed of a tight structure like music notes. This work also has a diffusive but inseparable relationship with the horrific memory of the worldwide social restrictions and even lockdowns, the Black Death in Florence, and the Spanish flu. "Everything is annihilated in the fire. This annihilation makes this work even more intriguing. It points to the depths of the social history and will trigger endless reveries about the future."

In 2020, ecologist Dr. Rory Hodd co-published a paper detailing his discovery of a small cluster of the tiny fern, Stenogrammitis myosuroides in a remote area of Killarney National Park in the southwest of Ireland. This was the first time that this species of fern had been detected in Europe–some of the only other known locations that this little plant can be found are in neo-tropical cloud forests of Jamaica and Cuba. Beginning with Dr. Hodd’s remarkable discovery, 'Like a Mouse' takes a position of observation of the interactions that people have with the ecology of this natural area, against the backdrop of the relentless invasion of a hybrid species of Rhododendron ponticum that is threatening the futures of native woodlands across the British Isles.

“LHES” is an experimental film built from decaying memories: the architecture of an old house in São Paulo, its furniture, objects and traces from former residents. Dividing these items into categories becomes an alchemical ritual, offering glimpses of unknown lives and stories, finding lyricism in repetition and in the superfluous.

"Cabo Tuna or The Management of the Sky" is a materialistic re-reading of the history of artificial satellites and digital surveillance which, using footage found exclusively on YouTube, intertwines the origins of the Nazi and Soviet arms industries with the digital surveillance systems used in the Mexican context of the war on drugs. This narrative arc allows for an exploration of the Mexican government's failed attempts to create its own aeronautical rockets, the growing dependence on technology from foreign powers and companies, the privatization of space, and finally, the contemporary strengthening of the state's military control.
