Space travel, Jewish world values and Yiddishkeit conjoin in this visual stunner that relates the uniquely inspiring life and out-of-this-world journey of Jewish-American astronaut Dr. Jeff Hoffman, who brought a small Torah scroll on board Space Shuttle Columbia in 1996. On Shabbat, while orbiting Earth, he read from the book of Genesis. This is a story about inspiration, communities, one man’s journey, and how family, educators, scientific and religious communities can achieve great things.
