A divorced, Jewish father from Chicago, finds himself living in Germany to be with his only daughter. He won’t abandon her like his own father did to him.

As he rediscovers his Jewish heritage, he must reconcile with his dying father in order to move forward and break the pattern of trauma and abandonment that has followed his family for generations.

He also attempts to open a Jewish Deli in a town known for a history of Antisemitism. What could go wrong?
