The Pacific Climate Warriors, born out of the low-lying Pacific Islands, are an Indigenous and youth lead movement who now have been on the front lines of climate change for decades --- their rally cry is “we are not drowning, we are fighting".

Their mission: to understand how trace amounts of light may be radically altering the mysterious world of the polar night. What they discover has implications for the global climate and the future of the Arctic.

Presented by the Hollomon Price Climate Change Series In Canada, a remote Indigenous community is fighting for its survival in the age of climate change. Extreme weather, changes in ice formation, and wildfires have made hunting and gathering for traditional food more and more dangerous and difficult. Along the Winisk River is a portrait of a community as it comes together to embark on a caribou hunt in the freezing subarctic winter of Canada. The film explores the impacts of this struggle against a backdrop of systemic discrimination and calls for the government of Canada to do better to protect Indigenous communities.

Through the accounts of Queen, who fled Nigeria due to oil-related environmental damage; Rubel, who escaped the floods in Bangladesh; and Francesco, Luigi, and Carlotta, Italian farmers facing desertification and biodiversity loss in Italy, the film documents climate change-induced migration.

Analyzes how climate change impacts migrations and fuels poverty and wars. By 2050, climate change-related disasters could displace up to 250 million people.
