Take a peek into the past to discover how Rachel Carson, Senator Gaylord Nelson, and other historical voices influenced the creation of this day. See how environmental movements have changed since the 1960's, and how the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020 adapted to changing times amidst a global pandemic.
