Martin Noel is conducting the first real-world test of ropeless fishing technology in the North Atlantic. Noël is also one of four fishermen from Shippagan, New Brunswick to form a whale rescue team in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Full bio here.
Dr. Sarah Sharp is the Animal Rescue Veterinarian for IFAW’s Marine Mammal Rescue and Research Program. Dr. Sharp leads IFAW’s efforts to document the causes of death for all marine mammals on and around Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA, including endangered North Atlantic right whales. Full bio here.
