Our rivers are as important as the air we breathe, connecting landscapes and food systems across the country. From the scenic Deschutes River to the salmon runs in Bristol Bay, this program follows conservationists striving to restore biodiversity, preserve accessibility, and educate others about the importance of our river systems.

Shane Anderson (Director, Guardians of the River) is an award winning documentary filmmaker based out of Olympia, Wa and the owner of Swiftwater Films and North Fork Studios. Full bio here.
