“Wyld Canopies” is a retro-inspired narrative music video recounting the “Artist’s Hero’s Journey”: of finding one’s passion and then putting that passion to good purpose. Based on the original song by Leon Rosen, the video was the director’s inaugural solo CG creation while learning the Unreal Engine. The project also utilizes additional mixed media of 2D animation and a few uniquely created AI elements layered into the edit.
