LATERZ follows Dazza, an aspiring rapper from Melbourne, and her best mates, Cash and Wombat, as they chase their dreams of musical superstardom. When a local radio station offers a legendary record as a contest prize, they see it as their golden opportunity and submit Dazza’s song. Convinced that talent alone won’t cut it, they hatch a wild plan to bribe their inside man to rig the contest.

They embark on a day of increasingly absurd schemes: selling snow to kids, flogging random locked bikes, and robbing a local pizza shop. Just when all seems lost, they hear Dazza’s track thumping on the radio.
