The Dreams We Had is the fifth movement from the 41-minute post-classical visual album Cube of Light by Christina Giacona and Patrick Conlon. In The Dreams We Had, Choreographer and Principal Dancer Maggie Boyett is exploring her personal ideas around the concept of home and what home looks and feels like with relation to dancing, family, light—specifically the sun, moon and stars. Josh Bivens is the Director of Photography and Editor on this video that was filmed on location at the Jacobson House and Sharp Concert Hall in Norman, Oklahoma, and features dancers Maggie Boyett, Nancy Boyett (mom) and Ruthe Blalock Jones (koko/grandma).
