Like an acrobat in middle of a the tightrope it's too late to turn back... what will these characters do?

An unflinchingly honest portrayal of the devastating reality behind the misunderstood anxiety disorder of OCD. His worst fears seemingly realised; a distraught father takes one last walk through his ruined world. For most people, being at the centre of their own world and having a loving family is a wonderful thing. For Charlie, it's literally a nightmare. Waving explores the anguish of a father in self-imposed exile to shield his family from his obsessive-compulsive disorder and the emotionally destructive thoughts he cannot escape.

**VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED**

Waving is a cinematic and dramatised attempt to address some of the misconceptions around Obsessive Compulsive Disorder that the creators believe abound in the media and therefore society as a whole.

The film contains distressing scenes centred around the effects of Intrusive Thoughts and could be triggering for certain members of any audience. As a result viewer discretion is advised.

OCD is a condition that affects people in many different ways and Waving is representative of the writers personal experience.

Help is available in many forms and we strongly recommend reaching out to either https://iocdf.org/, www.ocdaction.com or www.wavingfillm.com for support and learning more about the condition.
