LIVE FILMMAKER Q&A FRIDAY, JANUARY 15 @ 6-6:30PM

Tune in live for a Q&A with "Entangled" Director David Abel. Once you’ve unlocked the program, be sure to click “Watch Now" within the 24-hour window in which the live stream occurs in order to watch and participate live in Filmmaker Q&As.

As the human population increases along with the development that follows, the animals we share the planet with are strained. However, the films in this session show the other side of the story, too - that we can coexist and even generate solutions to aid the world's diversity of creatures, sometimes through great personal sacrifice.

Featuring: Wild & Wool (23 min) | Entangled (75 min)

Session sponsored by: Fancy Fechser

Award Winner: Honorable Mention & John de Graaf Environmental Filmmaking Award

The award-winning, feature-length film Entangled is about how climate change has accelerated a collision between one of the world’s most endangered species, North America’s most valuable fishery, and a federal agency mandated to protect both. The film, by the makers of Lobster War and Sacred Cod, won a Jackson Wild award, known as the Oscars of nature films. It also won Best Conservation Film at the Mystic Film Festival.
