Lauren To’omalatai is a Sāmoan filmmaker based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lauren co-founded and programs the Māsima Film Tour and oversees programming of the Utah Pacific Island Film Series, showcasing and supporting Pacific Island filmmakers since 2016 through cost-free community screenings, discussions, and workshops. Lauren is a proud alumni of imagineNATIVE’s Screenwriting: Features Intensive and continues to pursue creative and cultural pursuits rooted in community and collectivity.
