Director Statement

Inspired by Modern Family’s comedic misunderstandings and a little bit of personal experience, Not Alone is a comedic horror (or maybe a horrific comedy) partially based on true events. As a child, my brother and I would watch scary things despite being scaredy cats. Sammy is, like my brother and I, a scaredy cat who thinks he can handle horror movies.
