The story of Adam Goodes, an Aboriginal Australian who was a legend in the Australian Football League. After being called a racial epithet by a fan and having her ejected from the game, Goodes suffered abuse by fans for several years. After his retirement from the sport in 2015, he became an activist for Indigenous rights in Australia. The film explores Australian Aboriginal identity, the undercurrents of racism in modern Australia, and one person’s ability to deliver a powerful message about the destructive forces of discrimination and colonization.Awards: Melbourne International Film Festival Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature

Mikizi Migona Papatie, 27 years old, reveals his reality living in the Anishinaabe community of Kitcisakik, and shows the human side of drug addiction told through his painful and hopeful words.
