Ruslan Kurt, a Ukrainian-Crimean activist and contemporary artist from Melitopol, relocated to Canada after the full invasion by Russia in February 2022. In an attempt to illustrate the tragedies faced by millions of Ukrainians and wanting to affirm the catastrophe, he begins to bring damaged doors from Ukraine to Canada. This is ultimately a story about human rights, identity, representation and courage; reflected by the door owners, examined by the politicians and the contractors, mirrored by Ruslan and witnessed by the audience of the installation and, in the end, this documentary.
