DOXA Documentary Film Festival is located on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
Mary Point is the Manager of Indigenous Relations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR); and the Relationship Manager for the Musqueam Indian Band - YVR Airport Sustainability & Friendship Agreement. Mary helps to further develop the relationship between Musqueam and YVR, facilitating the elements of this agreement and exploring new joint business opportunities; as well as developing a global Indigenous peoples strategy.
Mary is a proud member of the Musqueam Indian Band – formerly Musqueam Facilities Manager and Community Planner. She has worked throughout British Columbia for two decades, developing strategic partnerships with a range of First Nations communities and local businesses. Mary brings extensive experience in strategic communications, partnerships and community relations to her position at YVR.
