Leo was the co-writer and assistant director of Pink Kong Studios TV series Urban Tails (2019). Leo has a background in animation having received a first in a B.A. Animation degree from the Irish School of Animation (Ballyfermot). Directors Statement: "The story of “The Dead Hands of Dublin” is intended to serve as a cautionary tale set against the backdrop of early 1900’s Dublin. It tells the story of Sidney, a failed pianist who comes into the possession of a pair of enchanted gloves. Sidney feels unlucky in life, love, and in his work, while other people always seem to catch all the breaks. Instead of proactively setting out to make that change with a bit of hard graft, Sidney opts for the shortcut to success. This leads to life changing results for him, the girl he is infatuated with, and all those around him. The creative team behind “The Dead Hands of Dublin” have crafted a piece with a strong visual, gothic-noir aesthetic. The Dublin fog and the imposing, inky black shadows really transport the viewer into Sidney’s world. With strong rhyming narration the film will thrill audiences as they follow Sidney's darkly comic tale of music, murder and melodrama."
