A Palestinian chemist from the village of Sur Baher decides to move from his village to Kibbutz Ketura in the Arava, where he will serve as the academic director of the Arava Institute, which trains students from the Arab countries and Israel. The story of the Palestinian, who seeks to advance peace in the Middle East, develops into the story of the founders of the kibbutz who emigrated from the United States swearing to fix the world and the State of Israel. They have one more dream that they want to fulfil. Will the transition to Ketura succeed? Will the kibbutz veterans succeed in realizing their dream? Moreover, will the small kibbutz in the Arava generate a new chance for Israeli society as a whole?
