Practicing mindfulness can open the mind to the biggest questions in life. What happens when those questions overwhelm you? You turn into a pure muscular powerhouse and fly into a higher plane and explode into a glowing plasma-beam in space, obviously. This film served as an opening and palette-cleanser for our own traveling animation festival.
John Christian F. Apalnes is a versatile director and artist from Asker with a love for anything that moves. There is a restless progression to his body of work, evidenced by all the different types of mediums and techniques he works with – be it live action, stop motion, compositing, puppetry, prop making or 2D animation. He likes vørterøl.
Ole Magnus Saxegård, originally from Sarpsborg, studied visual communication at UTS in Sydney. He directs, illustrates and animates commercials and explainers at Animasjonsdepartementet in Oslo.
