With nothing but their own resources, Dissidence retraces their extraordinary journey, from the training walls of Jakarta to a climbing route in Savoie, France. Cassie Ayoungman, founder of Soul of Miistaki and member of the Siksika nation, embarks on a journey to bring the healing power of the mountains to those within her community. Breaking down barriers to climbing, and integrating Indigenous teachings and land-based learning, she raises questions about representation and redefines what it means to be on the land.

Alex Waterhouse and Billy Ridal are two recently retired competition climbers that attempt to apply their indoor skills to real rock in the most extraordinary fashion. With almost no traditional climbing experience and barely a multi-pitch climb between them, our audacious duo set out to be the first Britons to make a free ascent of the Nose on El Capitan.
