Eleven-year-old Emma has a perfectly normal family until the day she learns that her dad, Thomas, is transgender. As Thomas transitions to Agnete, both father and daughter struggle to maintain their relationship, while accepting that everything they have known is changing. A sensitive debut by director Malou Reymann, based loosely on her own experience as a child, the film includes impactful home movies and wonderful performances especially by Kaya Toft Loholt who plays Emma.
