Kicking off the Festival film offerings, Vatel brings us to the France of the fabled Sun King, Louis XIV in 1671, where Master Chef François Vatel (Gerard Depardieu) finds himself plunged into aristocratic intrigue and romance. After the screening of this classic drama, stay tuned for a discussion and Q&A with Food Journalist Andra Zeppelin, Restaurateur Fred Morin of the acclaimed Joe Beef restaurant in Montreal, and Ken Albala.
