What would a Flatpack competition be without its traditional feast of internationally acclaimed animation? The films in this programme are varied in their tones and styles but have in common a strong personality. Most of them also make an impression in less than 5 minutes, proving once more the resourcefulness of the animation scene. Featuring Diverse by Birmingham City University student Taian Lu and the gripping animated documentary Just a Guy about a serial killer's fanclub, but also much lighter subjects such as the domestic love stories Washing Machine and powerwash (I love you) - both particularly relatable after months of lockdown.

Total running time: 55 mins

CAST YOUR VOTE ! These films are eligible for the audience award, as well as the Best Short and WTF awards, given out by our jury.
