Dream or reality? These films choose not to choose, and take us on a mysterious journey into the darkness of night - when anything can happen. A young boy knocks on every door in a remote village (Have You Seen that Man?), two teenagers go on a quest to find Mister Ping's exotic birds (the Berlinale revelation Easter Eggs), a girl finds herself stuck near Death Valley (Trona Pinnacles) while another starts talking to the stars (The End of Suffering (A Proposal)). With their structures reminiscent of fables or fairy tales these films convey rich feelings and create eerie atmospheres, where the magic reflects inner dilemmas.

Total running time: 63 mins

CAST YOUR VOTE ! These films are eligible for the audience award, as well as the Best Short and WTF awards, given out by our jury.

Winners will be revealed at the Flatpack Awards on 30 May (free event, booking essential).
