I have a lot of favorites in this comedy heavy film fest. LES PARFUMS is among the most unusual. Emmanuelle Devos is an actress seen in many FLIFF films, including THE CHEF'S WIFE, COCO BEFORE CHANEL, MY DAYS OF GLORY, THE BEAT THAT MY HEART SKIPPED, MOKA, KINGS & QUEENS...although her character in LES PARFUMS is not immediately likable, she will win you over. Kudos esp to her co-star Gregory Montel in a difficult role he pulls off beautifully...GvH
