
As a young boy, Ramak Niakan Safi only had one dream: to play professional soccer. But as a member of the Baha’i faith, the only persecuted religion in Iran, he was denied many rights - including the right to play professional soccer. After Ramy and his brother made the decision to escape Iran as religious refugees, Ramy got to live the soccer-filled life he had always wanted in the United States.
