Two men, Nimrod and Dori, are at the center of this complex and riveting human drama series. Nimrod, an unemployed computer programmer, starts working in a high-end restaurant kitchen to keep his family afloat. Dori, the renowned chef trying to take his place in Tel Aviv’s gastronomic scene, is a tough and uncompromising boss. Behind-the-scenes kitchen and personal relationships develop and explode as the pressures of egos, economics and moral choices converge. The series was inspired by creator Erez Kavel’s time working in many professional kitchens. The series was nominated for 12 Israeli Academy Television Awards, including Best Drama and was also one of the top-five most watched series in Israel in 2020.
