This powerful collection of narratives explores the themes of realism, identity, resilience, and the fragile balance between past and present. “Between Bullets and Lens” offers a firsthand look at journalists’ harrowing experiences covering the October 7th Hamas attack. Other films showcase a child experiencing the tension between innocence and the weight of family responsibilities, a deeply religious woman grappling with the boundaries of faith and modern medicine, and a Holocaust survivor searching for a true sense of belonging in a post-trauma world. In addition, a dedicated shoemaker fights to preserve his family’s legacy against the tides of time, and a film director, facing the anxiety and jealousy stirred by his movie's premiere, is forced to confront what truly matters in life.

A director prepares to debut his film at a prestigious festival where his girlfriend’s ex, a more famous director, is also in the competition. As his jealousy and anxiety build, he must decide what’s truly important before he loses everything.
