One thing the Arab American National Museum and our film festival does well, is tell stories of our community in the U.S. and beyond. These short films shed light on important, little-known subjects and individuals, who make a big impact. Whether focusing on politics in Yemen, women breaking ground in male-dominated sports, or being nostalgic for our history and loved ones, each film in this block reveals necessary and important information about our community/diaspora.

This short block of films is available for streaming to U.S. audiences only, between August 12-21, 2022.

After giving birth to her second child, the leader of a Moroccan tbourida team–––a dramatic sport of horsemanship and riflery––navigates 3 years of limbo as she struggles to compete again.
