Wine Dark Sea

Şarap Rengi Deniz

Documentary

This film chronicles the profound changes wrought by global warming in the Mediterranean, the sea Homer famously described as the 'Wine-Dark Sea,' and its surroundings. Rising temperatures are rapidly transforming the air, the sea, and the way of life in the Mediterranean. At the same time, individuals from diverse backgrounds and various organizations are working tirelessly to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change in the region. Yet, the film poses a thought-provoking question: Will all these efforts be enough? 'Wine-Dark Sea' leaves viewers pondering whether we will be doomed to live in the shadow of a once-beautiful Mediterranean dream, unable to find solutions to environmental issues. Or will we collectively forge a new narrative?
