Family is central to Palestinian identity. The dynamics between parent and child take center stage in these gripping and emotional short films, that focus on a broad range of topics including pregnancy and abortion, eating disorder/body image, homosexuality, and independence.

Leila spends the entire day getting ready for her estranged friend's birthday party. Her obsession with being “good”, as she defines the word, leads her back into her usual self-destructive cycle of behavior. Just when she thinks she’s got everything under control, a tense phone call with her mother pushes her over the edge.

Contains realistic depiction of an eating disorder that some viewers may find troubling. Viewer discretion is advised.
