A Wish Upon a Star
On Otto's birthday, he desperately wishes for the dog his parents had promised him before they passed away. That night, he sees a real shooting star land out in the woods and rushes out to find a Sputnik satellite. When he works up the courage to open it, a pup named Laika bounds out and the two form an instant bond. Otto is sure his parents fulfilled their promise. But when Otto is taken home, he loses track of Laika. Otto devotes himself to finding his friend and brining her home.
