He started out making music videos with a focus on storytelling combined with a sensitive visual language. He soon made his way into fiction, making short films. Landsvik has developed a personal take on coming-of-age stories that often revolves around themes such as identity and loneliness. His short film Sofia, Last Summer (2021) won the film critics award at the Norwegian Short Film Festival. Eivind is currently developing his first feature film.&nbsp;

Premiering at the prestigious Tampere Film Festival in Finland in 2018, an event recognised by the Oscars, it garnered widespread acclaim. This poignant piece went on to captivate audiences at renowned festivals like IFFI in Goa and MIFF in Mumbai, accumulating an impressive array of six awards across various categories.In another significant endeavour, Tarun crafted "Kaala," a deeply resonant short film inspired by the racial tensions faced by Africans in Delhi during 2016 and 2017. Its excellence was duly acknowledged as it clinched the title of Best Short Film at the esteemed Cinequest Film and VR Festival in the USA, earning a place in the 2020 Oscars.Adding to his repertoire, Tarun served as the 2nd unit director and associate director for the acclaimed web series 'Kohrra,' which made its mark on Netflix in 2023. The series quickly gained recognition, securing a position among the top 5 web series on Netflix in India for the year.His latest endeavor, "Ballad of the Mountain," weaves a captivating narrative set against the backdrop of Uttarakhand's foothills, chronicling the dreams of an outcast aspiring to reach the stars as an astronaut.

He has directed multiple short films throughout his career. His thesis film at Webster University, “Wokumentary”, won Best of Show in Comedy at Kinematifest Film Festival 2022. His ultimate goal in filmmaking is to capture the genuine moments and tell the story visually through the lens. Director Statement﻿I directed “Flesh and Blood”, a coming-of-age story told in a twisted setting where the character’s parents are serial killers. It is a horrific, yet ironic film about a high school senior making a life-changing decision on choosing his future career path. Through this film, I wanted to portray the experience I had in my high school years, when my parents were fairly uncertain about my future decision, which is going to film school. I can see the picture of my younger self in the main character, Terry Myers, who wants to pursue his dream of going to college. Even though this film features a frightening story told in a comical way, deep down it is a story of growing up and entering adulthood. The process of making this film was memorable, I love to see everyone working together on set to bring out the best results. I was blessed to have a productive crew full of talented and ambitious filmmakers.

Director Biography -&nbsp;Anna Hints, Tushar PrakashAnna Hints is an Estonian film director deeply rooted in the culture of South Estonia, yet for 5 years her second home has been India. She studied literature and folklore and has a degree in Photography and Film Directing. Filmography: Smoke Sauna Sisterhood (2023), Ice (2017).Tushar Prakash is an Indian filmmaker and graduate of Lodz’s National Polish Film School. He has been living in Estonia since 2020 and is currently working on a feature fiction film. Filmography: Jestem OK (2012), The Karma Killings (2016).

As a teenager I snuck into Universal Studios with my moped and have been pursuing work in the film business ever since. I have been a member of the Directors Guild, the Art Directors Guild, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, IATSE Local 44 Affiliated Property Craftspersons, and the Property Masters Guild.I have worked as a production assistant, assistant director, production coordinator, production manager, line producer, art department p.a., assistant art director, commercial art director, property master, and now I’ve tried on a new hat as writer/director for my first short film, DARCINE’S DAY.I think all of us in the film business feel a deep need to tell stories and during the 2023 strikes, with nothing else to do, I decided to create a story of my own. At first the idea was to create a sample reel for an actor friend, but it evolved into a 16-page script. I shared the script with film-biz friends, who were also twiddling their thumbs, a few liked the script and volunteered to help produce a film. The result is DARCINE’S DAY, a short film about an L.A. woman who struggles to find a job, a home, and a meal, only to go unseen for the help she really needs.DARCINE’S DAY had its world premiere at the Oscar-Qualifying LA SHORTS International Film Festival and has gone on to screen at more than fifty other festivals worldwide. It has won several festival awards for best writing, best director, best short film, and best actress.I love working as a property master and plan to do so for many more years. But the high-feeling I got from writing and directing my own project was intoxicating - and I want more of that too. Director Statement﻿We spend the day with Darcine Thomas (Kyla Diane Kennedy), divorced and jobless, as she struggles to get back on her feet. She tries to start a new business to help those living on the street, and struggles to find her own new job, hitting obstacles at every turn. When propositioned by a good friend, she thanks him, but returns to her lonely solace, going unseen for the help she really needs.In making DARCINE’S DAY we learned about “hidden homelessness,” where many people living in Los Angeles find it difficult to attain fair-paying work AND nutritious food AND affordable housing. They "double up,” sleep on friend’s couches, and as such are not technically counted as "homeless." Being “hidden” they lack access to government support, and public sympathy.As the script for DARCINE’S DAY developed, many crew members identified with these concepts either from personal experience or through friends who were living “hidden.”We signed a DGA agreement and a SAG contract. We were very fortunate to meet star Kyla Diane Kennedy, who brought DARCINE to life in a beautiful and authentic way.Audiences have told us that the message of DARCINE’S DAY is universal.

He has a BFA in Film Directing from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and an MFA in Film Production from Ohio University's School of Filmmaking. Director StatementWhat would it be like to watch your life from the outside? Would you judge yourself, would you understand, would you seem like a stranger? I wanted to explore this question and make it concrete, following a character who has the opportunity to, literally, see himself from a new perspective.This film was made with a cast and crew of undergraduate and graduate students at the Ohio University School of Film in Athens, Ohio, and shot entirely on the OU School of Film soundstage.
