Ibironke, a Nigerian-American woman trapped in stagnation and harmful habits, ignores her sister’s pleas to seek spiritual guidance on a family trip to Nigeria. Instead, she spirals deeper into destructive choices, including a reckless affair with an engaged business partner. When a heated confrontation pushes her to the brink, Ibironke is shaken by a terrifying vision of an ancestor who has been quietly guiding her all along. Recognizing the encounter as a powerful call to change, she ends the toxic relationship and finally agrees to return home with her sister—embracing the possibility of healing, ancestry, and renewal..
