On their way to graduation rehearsal, Joshua and his friends struggle to help him finish his commencement speech. It’s not every day you get to be chosen as Mckinley High’s first African American Valedictorian. The pressure is on when the group of friends find themselves in a situation that could completely ruin graduation but most importantly the rest of their lives. The stakes are high when you’re preparing for the greatest achievement of your life, and societal norms try to take that away from you.
