From his childhood in Kansas to San Francisco in the 1970s to a historic meeting with Barak Obama in 2016. This film was created for PERFORMAnCE, POLITICS & PROTEST, The ART of GILERT BAKER an exhibit at the GLBT Museum in San Francisco, California.

Growing up in a conservative town in Texas made it very hard for her to find herself. The music video is meant to show how happy and at peace she feels as she realizes how beautiful it is too have queer friendship. Something she's never experienced before. It's based on a true story of real life locations, with memories of being with her friends. I think a lot of queer music videos are about romantic love but we so often forget about the love we have for our queer friends and that's what this music video shows.
