After the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in NYC, tension was high and Arab Americans were subject to suspicion along with verbal and physical attacks all over the country for their perceived association with the event. In San Francisco on Thanksgiving of the same year, an Arab couple finds this tension in their own relationship as they prep to go to a Friendsgiving in Tech potluck, their discussion shifts to the controversial merits of a well quoted journalist.
