Shame (عيب)” explores the notion of shame in Arab culture and its impact on norms, gender, and identity. Set in recreated 19th-century Levant and filmed in vertical format, it follows Salma Zahore embodying multiple roles while confronting the boundaries imposed by “عيب.” Blending queer perspectives and AI voices, the film reimagines tradition, exposing how shame controls bodies and identities across time.
