Timeless, impressionistic and luminous,&nbsp;HARVEY, a short film adapted from the graphic novel of the same name, is a poetic tale about bereavement and coping with the loss of a parent, told through the eyes of a child with an overflowing imagination. The charming narration and delicate animation by director Janice Nadeau convey the misconceptions and anxieties of childhood with the lucidity that young minds show in the face of life’s defining moments. Crafted with a jeweller’s precision and immense sensitivity, and featuring elegant music by Martin Léon, this film is so personal that it strikes a universal chord.

Due to a new bridge, the skipper of a ferryboat is suddenly without passengers. A coot looking for stuff for its nest provides a solution.

Koet

A coot and a ferry skipper live harmoniously side by side in and on a city river. When a new bridge is built across the river, from one day to the next the skipper has lost all his passengers. Luckily, the bird, usually busy gathering material for his nest, turns out to be just the connecting factor that gives the ferry reason to sail again.

Among the tragic stories of the disaster is the remarkable account of a sailor who, blown skyward from the deck of a British cargo steamer, flew over 2 km before landing completely unharmed, but naked except for his boots.

The story of an astronaut detached from his space station, taken into an infinite drift throughout the universe. Freed from time and space, DRIFTER is confronted with the void, he takes a dive into the unknown, in search of the ultimate freedom.
