Comparsa follows sisters Lesli and Lupe Pérez as they use art to combat violence against women. Lesli and Lupe spring into action as their community reels after a horrific case of femicide claimed the lives of 41 girls, including their friend Siona. Rather than allowing fear to paralyse them, the girls take charge of their destinies by reclaiming a clandestine dump and transforming it into a safe space for sisterhood. They produce a joyful festival of art, fire, and thunderous drums, inspiring local girls to break their silence.
