Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra’s New Year Concert
The Aspidistra Drawing Room Orchestra returns to our Music Room for the fifth time for their New Year’s Concert. Aspidistra consists of string quartet, piano, flute and oboe and has been praised for its joyous interpretation of unjustly neglected Palm Court music. This year’s programme includes works by Haydn Wood, Irving Berlin, Jacob Gade, Leroy Anderson, Mátyás Seiber and Sigmund Romberg. The evening is the perfect recipe for forgetting any miseries of 2025 and facing 2026 with renewed energy.
