A London born project that celebrates Greek Rebetiko and closely related traditional music. With a distinctive approach, the band weave together the vibrant tapestry of Eastern Mediterranean music with the harmonic progressions and rhythms of contemporary styles. The result is a fresh, new wave of Greek music, one that communicates the plurality of the vibrant London music scene while strongly reflecting on its origins and creating a joyful, holistic soundscape. The group are seasoned musicians within the genre and have performed in various projects such as The Turbans, Don Kipper and Idrisi Ensemble and at highly acclaimed establishments such as WOMAD, BBC Radio and The Royal Albert Hall.
