Six short stories, four voices from Gaza.
Palestinians are Your Eyes is a project by the Italian-Palestinian company Anqa, bringing to life a collective narrative that knows no borders.
On October 15, 2026 these stories will resonate in unison during a global premiere across the world. Previews, premieres, and post-premiere readings will take place around this date. Anqa wants these stories to reach every corner of the globe and "The Debut Crew" are honoured to participate and support this. October 15th is not just a date in the calendar; it is an open wound in Anqa's company history. On that day in 2023, Abraham Saidam, a young performer with Anqa, was killed by Israeli bombardment. The global reading of Palestinians are Your Eyes from October 15th is to honour his memory.
The Debut Crew, a small group of London based actors, will be reading and performing these six short stories live on stage on Saturday October 17th at Sands Film Studios. Hoping to bring these works of fiction interwoven with autobiographical elements to life, through narrated scenes and music, they look forward to sharing the voices of these writers from Gaza. The global reading will be a live event for audience members to attend in person, however, the event will also be recorded and streamed online.

Location: Sands Film Studios Theatre, Rotherhithe London
Ticket price: £10 (minimum) to attend in person, additional contributions will be gratefully received

Box office proceeds above net costs will go to Progetto REC.Palestina (REC.Palestine Project) https://apsscighera.com/progetto-rec-palestina/.
These funds will be used in part to support the activities of the Anqa theatre company (providing a contribution to the Gazan authors of the text) and in part for the humanitarian interventions of Emergenza Gaza (an Italian-Gazawi network).

the program will begin to play automatically at October 17th, 2026 7:45 PM and play live. Viewers will be able to rewind (or fast-forward to the live point). If viewers join late, they can restart the beginning of the program. When the last item has finished, the program will become available for on-demand viewing until the availability window closes.
