All Our Relations: Tribute to the Orca is a moving 7-minute film drawing on footage from an Indigenous-centered public event during Orca Action Month, June 2024 at the Seattle Aquarium as well as other interviews. It delivers powerful voices of regional Indigenous leaders delivering somber and urgent narratives. Tribute to the Orca highlights Indigenous communities' ancient kinship with orcas and salmon, and the importance of reciprocity in our relationship with our caretaker: Mother Nature. A special focus is on the Southern Resident orcas whose survival, like the survival of Indigenous lifeways here in the Pacific Northwest, depends on scha’enexw (the Salmon People).&nbsp; The event and film are a project of Se’Si’Le, an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization based in the Bellingham, WA in collaboration with Salish Sea and Northern Straits Native Nations, Save our Wild Salmon and Washington Conservation Action.&nbsp;

ALL OUR RELATIONS: TRIBUTE TO THE ORCA is a moving film drawing from an Orca Action Month Indigenous-centered event hosted by Se’Si’Le, an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization.

Story Pole tells the remarkable story of Jason LaClair, a Native American artist from the Pacific Northwest, as he restores a story pole started by an elder from his community. The film is a reflection on his life as he recovers from drug addiction, and finds healing in his art and community. His journey leads him into the public school district, where he teaches young people about his people’s history, art and healing.

Pacific Northwest Native American artist Jason LaClair received the charge to complete the carving of a “Story Pole.” LaClair’s restoration and completion of the story pole reflect the redemption of his own life.

In Monalisa's home town, a small village in the middle of the rainforest on the Indonesian island of Borneo, many people are faced with a tough decision: Do I sell my land to ensure my family's financial survival and risk deforestation and environmental destruction by large corporations? Or do I stand up for the preservation of nature and suffer economic consequences as a result? The documentary short film ‘Monalisa - a climate story’ shows how the climate crisis is already shaping biographies in the Global South. It portrays a young indigenous woman from the Dayak people who joins a reforestation organisation and gives everything to find a solution to the conflict in her community that does justice to both people and nature.
