TikTok sensation and 2D artist Zoe, known as "Zobeybop," shares her inspiring journey from Algonquin College to working on projects for Adult Swim and an upcoming children’s show. With over 22 million likes on TikTok, Zoe has turned her passion for animation into a thriving career, overcoming personal health challenges and the shift to online learning during the pandemic.  


Zoe discusses the unique opportunities and challenges of TikTok as a platform for animators, including her collaboration with The Living Tombstone and the balance between online presence and creative work. She offers insights into navigating brand deals, balancing industry roles with independent projects, and managing mental health in the creative space.

Noushin Emami

Noushin Emami is an Iranian-Canadian producer, writer, director, and the founder of Neera Animation Studio, established in 2023. Through Neera, Noushin and her co-founder Alice, focus on preserving cultural heritage and amplifying underrepresented voices by creating 2D animated stories rooted in folk traditions. Her work explores universal themes such as family, love, and identity, connecting with audiences across generations and backgrounds.


Her debut film, Razor Ruckus, won the Best Director award at the 2024 SPARK ANIMATION Festival, marking a significant milestone for her and her team. As the producer of Razor Ruckus, as well as upcoming projects like Carpet Weavers and WolfRabbit, Noushin strives to craft stories with humour, warmth, and cultural depth.
