Mickaël Léger served as 2D Supervisor at beloFX on My Lady Jane, bringing nearly 20 years of industry experience to the team. Before beloFX, he worked at DNEG as a 2D Supervisor on projects like Wonder Woman 1984Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and Uncharted, and previously at MPC, contributing to films such as X-Men: ApocalypseThe Nutcracker and the Four Realms, and Alien: Covenant.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Mickaël brings a deep understanding of on-set and post-production techniques, particularly in Look Development. He began his career directing music videos and documentaries before transitioning into VFX, where his strong creative instincts and collaborative approach have made a lasting impact.

Russell Bowen

VFX Supervisor // beloFX

(My Lady Jane, The Acolyte, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Venom: Let There Be Carnage)


Russell Bowen is a talented VFX Supervisor who recently supervised beloFX’s work on The Acolyte and My Lady Jane. Before joining the beloFX team, Russell spent 14 years rising through the creative ranks at DNEG, culminating in his role as VFX Supervisor for DNEG’s work as lead vendor on Shazam! Fury of the Gods


Russell holds a deep-rooted command of the VFX pipeline and extensive on-set experience. He worked as DFX Supervisor on Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Togo and as CG Supervisor on Alita: Battle Angel and Pacific Rim Uprising. He has contributed in other capacities to a wide range of titles, including The Fate of the FuriousStar Trek Beyond, Ant-Man and Alice Through the Looking Glass, to name a few.

Marina Antunes

Marina has been writing and discussing film for over 15 years, first on a personal blog, followed by a decade-long tenure on the now retired Row Three. In 2008, she joined the writing staff at Quiet Earth, becoming Editor-In-Chief in 2014, a role she still holds. Over the years, she has also produced and hosted a number of podcasts including Before the Dawn, a long-running podcast on the Twilight franchise, Girls on Pop, a podcast on film and popular entertainment from women’s perspective and After the Credits, bi-monthly film podcast with nearly 300 episodes.


Marina is a member of ACM and ACM SIGGRAPH, the Online Film Critics Society, the Alliance of Women Film Journalists, and the Visual Effects Society. She is the President of Spark CG Society and the Vancouver ACM SIGGRAPH chapter. She has also served on juries for several film festivals including DOXA, St. Louis International Film Festival, and the Whistler Film Festival. She joined the Spark CG Society in 2014.
