In this piece we explore the themes of limerence and obsession, and the pain
that comes from the juxtaposition of delusion and reality. Lara believes she is
seeing John watching her. Lara then, in fact, sees John leave his house and follows him. She watches as he meets up with a date, Rebecca. Reality crashing into her obsession, Lara questions what is real and feels tormented by their love. In a moment to herself in the bath, Lara grieves a relationship that perhaps only ever existed in her head. In the throes of delusion, Lara grapples with her reality of loneliness and her desperation for inner peace.
